Choo Choo Chicken, Sri Petaling, Malaysia

hi , I'm Elina . I've been trying to write blog ( I had a few during my teenage years but I want to start a fresh one here ) for awhile now . but I never got the courage . I always thought that all my ideas on what to write are too generic . today , I guess I just wanted to try . I like foods , books , animals and being alone . so I guess this is more of my own kind of journal , whether it been known by public or not . I don't think anyone would read this , really . enough with the rambling , here goes nothing .

last week , on the 31st August 2019 , known as the 62nd Independence Day of Malaysia , GrabFood , a Malaysian based delivery and services company launched a promotion of 50% for all the new GrabFood users . there are 3 vouchers credited into all the new users account . I already spent 2 of them earlier in August . but because that was my last day at work , my colleagues and I decided to use the last voucher to buy food for all of us to share as a farewell celebratory for me .

because there were 4 of us working morning shift on that day , we decided that we wanted to try the Choo Choo Chicken's set . we ordered a half spicy chicken set that contains 12 pieces of chicken with a side cheese in a bun kind of thing .

there are 3 options on the chicken set ; Non Spicy , Half Spicy and Full Spicy . at first we wanted the Full Spicy set but one of my colleague can't eat spicy foods , so we settled for the Half Spicy . the delivery duration was considered fast , taking only 28 minutes considering the hectic traffic during Merdeka (Independence) Day celebration going on all throughout Malaysia , but especially in Kuala Lumpur itself .

when the food arrived , we put on plastic gloves due seeing as the chicken set are best eaten by hand instead of utensils . we tried the spicy half at first and it was really good whilst the non spicy half that we tried afterwards tasted quite bland . we guessed that the cheese inside the bun was not real cheese other than the top layer , much to our disappointment . or maybe they used powdered cheese , I don't know . but overall I can give this based on taste and everything a 6.8/10 .

if anyone wanted to try this , I suggest to take the Full Spicy if you can digest spicy foods . all in all , good luck in trying .
